I don't think the facts are wrong, Josie, it may be that there's been some cutting and pasting that went wrong.
The 364 games is over a hundred plus years, so averages at between 2.5 and 3 games a year. But the write-up reads as though we played Saints 374 times since 1996!!!!
I’ve only copied & pasted the post off the official site so it’s not me 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

My dad's 87 watched wigan since the age of 8 and he says the big game was leigh until Jim Sullivan (who was a wigan legend bye the way ) became their coach ,before that it wasn't particularly a rivalry because saints weren't in the same division.
