Re: New signing
I don’t understand how people can be feeling underwhelmed about something which is entirely speculative. He costs us nothing on the cap and we can take a look at him without even having to play him in the first team. It’s a free hit (leaving aside Mr Danson having to pay him of course).
His name vaguely rang a bell, I think because of his NFL move, and he looks big and quick. Let’s see what Peet and co can make of him. I completely trust their ability to assess what he can do for us, and have no worries that they will feel the need to pick him if he is going to improve the side.

I'm a cynic, so assume that there will be commercial tie-ins that will cover his wages and I'm not sure we will see him in a Wigan shirt.
Nice if he proves me wrong although I can't for the life of me see why Martian Offiah was instrumental in the move.

He's definitely not big. Around 5'8 and about 85kgs.Exiled Wiganer wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 10:42 am I don’t understand how people can be feeling underwhelmed about something which is entirely speculative. Re: New signing
Fwiw this signing could go either way. He still is absolutely electric and has scored some great tries for Gloucester this season. The spotlight will really be on him defensively and under a high ball. My main take away is that this is a massive vote of no confidence for Douglas
