A friend from rugby told me that he heard something about wigan are trying to sign deacon?

Has any one else heard anything about that?

i started this rumour off 10 days ago on cherry n white, my friend in the know reckoned he was going to sign shortly but since then i have heard he will come and is signed up but than likely will happen next year as deacon contract runs out then , original deal was swopping tickle for him but tickle wasnt to impressed in goign to bulls

Bull, is probably the only accurate word in that statement

I know this is only a rumour, and I don't generally comment on rumours, but if there's anything in any of this at all, the mind boggles that Tickle didn't want to go to the Bulls.

There've been loads of stories about Tick being unhappy at Wigan since Millward came, plus Bradford must look a far safer bet for silverware than us. On top of that, I understand he was a good mate of Terry Newton's. So why didn't he want to go?

Anyone know anything?
