I would take Vagana in a second, he is still a class act and does some damage when he comes off the bench, Langley too is a solid performer and would offer something in our current sitaution."If he does decide to leave, the Bulls have what they have already identified as a ready-made replacement in his assistant, Steve McNamara, who last week turned down the head coach's job at Hull.
There is also a suggestion that Bradford, with their shortage of cash, might release one or more players to make the trip over the Pennines with Noble, with the veteran prop, Joe Vagana, and the young back-rower, Jamie Langley, the likely contenders."
More rumours, players this time.

Should Noble come in as coach, it is reported the Bulls are low on cash or are very close to the limit, or just want to free some cash up. A report in The Independent says the following should Noble come to Wigan.

dave woods said on five live that he would not be surprised if the said two players followed him.

For once we agree on something ChrisA but to this wish list I would add a straight swap for Higham/Newton, should be easy to fix up, after all Noble obviously never wanted Higham at the Bulls. It reminds me of the time that Stains 'transferred' Sonny Nickle to Barrow to work off that 6 match suspension he received at the end of one season in the days when the lower leagues played at a different time to superleague.
Got to ask if this is one of the first signs of the Bulls 'flexible' use of the salary cap that I told you about last November coming home to roost. I should obviously have listened more carefully to the Wakefield fan in the pub opposite the ground before the game last Friday night who told us then that Noble would be Wigan coach by Easter Monday!
I think he also said that Deacon would come with Noble as well.

I do not think Bradford will ever let Fielden go. If only
My dream two would be Fielden and Hape

Re: More rumours, players ...
It may well be. The use of offshire benfit trusts for paying overseas players is under scrutiny by the inland revenue and Bradford have made substanial losses for a few season now.ian.birchall posted:

They have been living off the cash from whatever deal was done over Odsal with the council.
Something has to give.
How is this that much different than what happened to Wigan when the financial problems began to bite back at the end of the 90's?
They are the most sucessful club of the era. They have had to do a deal on their ground to raise money. They now look to be triyng toi find ways to raise cash. Sound familiar?
And all this in the era of the salary cap that is supposed to have prevented this sort of thing happening.

Fielden is absolute class. Bradford would be mad to let him go. I'd have him at Wigan in a shot.cpwigan posted:

I'm sure Noble (if he does come, looks VERY likely now) will look to reinforce our forward line, and it makes sense for him to look at the players he knows first.
Anyway, got a small matter of the match against stains to watch now...
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.
Re: More rumours, players ...
Langley is a great player id have him as for Vagana id rather we get Withers.
