And you'd know because you kept telling everybody how good Vaealiki was.

Lets not let sentimentality blind us here. Terry is a good player, but given his temperament and his ability to give penalties away, losing him wasn't the end of the world as far as I'm concerned. Sure, in a salary cap-free world,it would be great to have him back, but any spare money we have needs to go on a stand off as a priority.

We have trent barrett in the bag for next season.

Spare money at the end of the year will go on a prop and a centre.

If you disagree with my position on Newton try putting up some reasons rather than the rubbish above.

We are talking now though not next season. We don't need Newton now IMO but at least one centre. Richards isn't woking out in that position and DV is injured and wasn't playing well anyway.

It was a stupid decision to get rid in the first place and Millward should have been sacked just for suggesting it, and then we wouldn't be in the situation we are now.
When fit he is the only player in Superleague to come anywhere near as good as cunningham if not better. Due to his ban he's had the rest he needed to recover from the injury he was carrying last season and i think this ban will have improved his discipline. I hope Tricky Dicky is right because he's a liability we could do with looking forward to returning.

Me too. Not necessarily because they're better players, although most are, but for where our squad needs reinforcing.
Fielden, Vainikolo, Vagana, Pryce, Bai, Hape, Deacon.
