It was a stupid decision to get rid in the first place and Millward should have been sacked just for suggesting it, and then we wouldn't be in the situation we are now.
Yes we would, since Newton wouldn't have played in any of the matches so far.
not because of newton not playing, because of millward being coach.

This whole Newton thread is a joke. See Sunday Mirror he has a 1 page article on his impending debut for the Bulls.

That depends on when the article was written.... 7 days is a long time in sport as the last week in the Super league has demonstrated.

Personally, I'd like to stick with Higham and Godwin and see if we can tempt Vagana / Deacon to accompany Nobby for a bit of muscle up front and the leadership of Deacon to push us around the park.

According to the News of the World Langley and Deacon could come. Players are coming there is no doubt about that but Vagana and Deacon id go for.

But we have 1 space under the cap who would we let go.

Take your pick :conf:

Richards, Vaeliki, Orr/Moran (if deacon comes and Higham stays) - none of them are performing at the moment.

And i'm not sure what the contractual arrangements for the "temps" are - wilkes, james etc...

Listening (as I unfortunately had no choice but to do) to Ray French on Radio Scouseland on Friday for the first half, you'd think Jonkers was the best player we had.
