Dallas interview

Post by Mike »

A very depressed sounding Brett Dallas talks to Dave Woods about motivation, poor performances, lack of coach and relegation. He also says that it was not IMs fault we were losing matches, it is down to the players poor attitudes

Litle doubt that if all players had BD's attitude we would be further up the league ( but not much maybe).
As for the IM situation, is anyone naive enough to think our problems began and ended with him?
We still have a heck of a job to avoid the drop and if Noble can somehow turn this round it will be no small achievement.

I know he says he likes a challenge, but heck this is like climbing Everest.
He is nice and relaxed at Bradford (perhaps bored?)
But its a stressful time ahead if he joins Wigan, IM looked ill IMO towards his last few games, was always glowing at Saints

Definalty agree if all thought like Dallas we would be higher up the table.

If I was Brian Noble, I would be having a VERY serious think about going to the JJB after today's performance.

It would be unfair to expect him to turn round things overnight, and that is exactly the postion he will be in...turning us around before we get dropped.

There was no cohesion in the squad, it was at times watching 17 guys who have just turned up for a game of touch rugby at the Rec. The tackling was woeful and the handling worse still.

As great a player he is, Lockers is at present not captain material. Give the job to somebody else who can get the team together and let the lad concentrate on getting his game together. It was too much for the lad to have the captaincy foisted on him after returning from injury.

Playing Rugby League for a living is a privelage.

To play for Wigan is an Honor.

They should never forget that.

suppose noble cant lose really, no doubt if he does come he will say he wants to be released if they do get relegated, but lets face it, if he comes he cant do much worse, and will get a huge paycheck for it

Thinking about it.

As im Welsh had the WRU over yesterday for talks re me taking the National job in Wales.

Told them well if Brian Noble turns Wigan down then id have to go there and sort themout first. Priorities you see i told them. Not happy but there we go.

So if Brian does not take the job ill have it. And WNAC is coming as my assistant.
