As for your comments on Brown looking old Fraggle, do you not think you're being a bit unfair? I thought he got a knock, either on his run or as he grounded the ball.
Maybe, but then I'm not really much of a fan of his and at half past 9 this morning I still hadn't gotten over the game yesterday so he was an easy target for venting some frustration!

I had guessed that haha.

In the team as it is I don't think we can pinpoint Brown as a weak link. At stand-off he makes breaks, we lack that from Danny Orr. Brown's tackling has been suspect, typical of this season, shirt grabbing and letting go tackle, but every single player has been guilty of this. I don't think you can say Brown doesn't care, he's always the first player walking over to the fans to clap us and raising his hands into the air to gee us up. He does, however, lack confidence.

Thing is, everyone knew Robinson was a classy little player, it was his off field antics that saw him released.
Brown however, well you can see from this thread what the general census is.
There were threads like this about Luke when he was struggling.

brown was rubbish yesterday the problem was he wasn,t the only one, tickle and richards where both as bad. some players just aren,t up to superleague standard.we need players back quickly or we will be in big s***.

Can we keep the bad language a bit more subtle please, changing just one character is not acceptable. Thank you - Fraggle

I agree that Brown makes some bad mistakes but i have to argue the point that he always gives his all when he plays. This is more that can be said for some on the pitch like Richards and Tickle! I would rather have Brown in our squad playing with passion and pride than some loser that couldn't give a poo.

it,s our own mistakes that are beating us at the moment we need a few games of minimal error football and with brown in the team this ain,t gonna happen.if you want to see pride and effort watch jordan james not the most talented player we have but he knows it,s his big chance and he wants to grab it .some of our other players think playing for wigan is the tops but don,t want to go the extra yard to be special .dean bell spoke about this before the game yesterday

Brown had one good game, his debut I think at Skints, since then he has never done anything spectacular. He aint big enough and doesn't make up for it with skill flair or...speed?

But, he doesn't stand out as that bad with the current crop. We nearly missed Vaeliki

Brown was a very promising kid but alas he has fallen victim to poor guidance and being part of a declining era in this once invincible rugby club.He is just 1/17 of at this time in a very average team.
