Who do you anticipate victories over and how many points do you think we will have by the end of the season? Most importantly, will it be enough to avoid relegation?

The remainder of the season?
Re: The remainder of the seaso...
Doesnt it seem like we have played way more games away than at home. We dont seem toget a block of any games at home
Re: The remainder of the s...
I think there are many complaints about scheduling. Boots n All mentioned that out of their first 10 fixtures, Hull and Wakefield have/will have played each other 3 times. Like many I hanker for the old home / away / home / away system.
Re: The remainder of the s...
8 of our last 12 games are at home. We will have played an equal number of home and away games, I don't see that it matters in what order we play them. If anything, it's a good thing, as the pitch will be in better condition once the soccer has finished.steve posted:

We've had 2 away draws in the cup, which makes it seem worse, though.
Re: The remainder of the seaso...
someone scoffed at my suggestion (admittedly a bit tongue-in-cheek) that 4 wins from the next 4 games could see us play-off bound.
Looking at the remaining fixtures though, we dont 1/2 have to play some mediocre teams (twice more sometimes) so i dont think playoffs is that remote a prospect IF we win 3 or 4 of next 4 games.

If we can get all our players back and get some confidence, I am still confident we will give anybody a game.

Really. Can you afford Sky? Did you see Salford tonight? They will batter us in the cup.ChrisA posted:

Yes I did Jimmy, thanks for asking, I really appreciate your concern. My point still stands. However there is a long way to go for us to get to the point were I feel we still could give anyone a game. I do think that an injury free run under Noble, a few wins to get confidence up and a better gameplan will see us competing again, you may think the season is all over, I dont. No mater how many sarcastic comments you make, you wont change that.
Re: The remainder of the s...
Thought both teams defended fantastically but the attack was poor. Mind you they completed sets
Anybody think Salford were robbed? I thought Saints first try was very dodgy. Strange how the video ref gave him the benefit of the doubt but not to Haggerty when Lyon clearly had something to do with the ball going astray.
Chris A is correct. Playing as we are now, we will struggle to win many if any games but if we improve there are lots of games to be won.
Oh and I remember going to Salford in the cup with one team overwhelming favourites and they lost their proud cup record. Also happened to a team that supposedly only had to turn up at the Watersheddings. Grrr, Paddy Kirwin
