I dont remember who we played or the details of my first match at central park, just the atmosphere. It was in the days of winter rugby n i was addicted straightaway. Wigan were in top form and i went to an away match somewhere very cold! Possibly Oldham? Wigan had a massive lead and before the game was over the guy changing the cricket style scoreboard took all the numbers off and went home! Best game v Manly at central park.

My first game was away at Odsal, in 1992, (I would be 6 or 7) against Bradford Northern...
We won! (And I think Nobby would have been hooker for them...) :cool:

the first match i watched was the last St. Helens match at Centeral Park

I feel old reading some of these! My first game would've been in 1981 ish. I'd have been four. I remember running around and collecting things at the top of the kop where the p'ing area was!! Happy days people. Happy days. The whole match experience was better at 'THE CENTRAL PARK'.R.I.P.

Ignore Jimmy, the guy obviously has issues with people who he knows nothing about, and for absolutely no reason at all. He tends to think he is the oracle of this board, and R.L in general for that matter. If Jimmy doesn't know it, it's not worth knowing :roll:

I think he and phsyco should swap names in all honesty, it would be far more apt for Jinkin "Mr Dual Personality" Jimmy.
