Give up kevin brown!!!
Re: Give up kevin brown!!!
Demt. the second one is on dallas he doesn't trust Brown

you have to beat the best
you have to beat the best
Re: Give up kevin brown!!!
I can't understand the constant slagging that Brown gets. Last night his defence was poor at times but he's good going forward. I think he plays his best at stand-off, he always makes breaks, he just isn't backed up very often.
I don't think he can be blamed for not converting the kick he caught into a try. He did well to catch it and they did very well in defence.
There was one point in the game where Dallas fumbled the ball into our in goal and fortunately got his hand on it just before they did. He was clapped for fixing his own problem, can you imagine the abuse Brown would have got had he done the same?

He gets a slagging because;
He can't tackle
He can't pass a ball
He can't break a tackle
He has no positional sense whatsoever
He can't hold onto a ball
He shows no sign of improving in any area
He's the worst player to wear the cherry and white since Doc Murray or Shem Tatupu
Warms up well, mind you

2)he can pass, inch perfect to send dallas in the corner
3)he can sometiems break tackles
4) he does sometimes position himself well.
5)he can hold onto a ball just chooses not to sometimes.
6)some improvements have been made.
7)bit harsh calling him the worsed ever.
and from what i remember last season, he can't train well as he tripped over the step rope things when he was tip toeing through them. think it was against london.

Seriously though everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's what the board is about.
I don't know what has happened with Brown, when he first made it through to the squad he looked promising, but for the last season or so his level of performance seems to have dropped.
Whether it's a confidence thing or opponents have worked out how to play against him I don't know. Let's just hope that Nobby arriving at the club helps him return to the form he initially showed.

I'm with Psycho on this one. We won, and we won convincingly and most of all, the players seemed to be enjoying their rugby for the first time this season. I agree Brown has been disapointing this season, but I just think he need to find his place in the team and he'll do a good job for us. I know it's early days, but hopefuly the bad times are behind us, so lets get behind the players now and show the rest of the league Wigan won't just roll over and die. Well done Lads, if we play like that for the rest of the season, I'll be happy.

Re: Give up kevin brown!!!
Browns played left centre, right centre' full back & stand off and needs stability just like the rest of the club. But he has pace a great side-step which he demonstrated when he scored against the quins and when he put Dallas in against Huddersfield. I trust Noble to get the best out of this lad.Remember thats all he is' he's has had to play first team football befre he was 18 and is only 21bikerharry posted:

Just dont like it when he comes rushing out the line but never makes the tackle leaving a gap for the oppo to run into. IMO If he stops doing that his defence will improve.

How long do you want to give him? He has been in the first team for at least three years now and still can't tackle.- psycho - posted:1)his tackling isn't the best but he will improve in time.ragman posted:

Do you think he meant it? I am serious! He gave an inch perfect pass to a Qunis player last week and often Brown simply does not look where he passes the ball. I have seen him pass it into touch looking straight ahead before now.2)he can pass, inch perfect to send dallas in the corner
Never seen him do it once.3)he can sometiems break tackles
Never seen him do that once either.4) he does sometimes position himself well.
You mean pass when he shouldn't and hold onto it when he should (pass)? Trade mark Brown play.5)he can hold onto a ball just chooses not to sometimes.
He is supposed to be GB material and he looks nothing like it. I don't believe he has improved one iota from when Stevo bought him a watch.6)some improvements have been made.
One of his contemporaries is Lockers. Now there is a player who has imporved since he came into the team.
True, but 1 out of 7 isn't good. Must try harder7)bit harsh calling him the worsed ever.

brown looks like he,ll never be more than a cover/utility player. he has some nice moves but he also makes some of the worst passes ever seen on a rugby pitch. oh and he,s to small
