Didn't go myself thankfully.
Have you decided to keep your season ticket, or are you still getting shut?

Waiting until our next home game on 5th May. If we are still in dire straights I'm gonna run on the pitch and throw my season ticket at the bench ( better still at little Mo ); like that geyser did at Middlesboro Football Club, earlier this season Trouble is, they gave him a pardon and sent his ticket back to him !!!!!!horsey posted:

What about a petition get a few thousand signatures and send it for the personal attention of Dave Whelan. What you must think about that Dave Whelan is the owner of the club and Auntie Mo is running the club for him he has cost the club a lot of money by his sackings and Dave Whelan as owner must take note of this.
Re: Maybe a Protest
Erm, maybe Whelan already knows all about this because I'm sure he has to agree to paying out for coaches. They do talk to each other regularly, after all. Indeed, there is a strong suspicion that DW was the driving force behind the removal of Millward and the latest payoff.jaws1 posted:

you cant live in the past we need some new players not a new coach noble will loose with most of this teamstandishcat posted:Oh yes, I'd love to "struggle on" with their salary. So what if it's small fry compared to other sports? Jeez, anyone would think they get paid peanuts.I agree but we as fans don't have to spend our days training and we can walk away after a match and go to work the next day but they have to struggle on and deal with it.
They work very hard all their career to achieve a level of fitness higher than everyone else and they go and play one of the toughest sports on earth for relatively small pay.
As Wigan fans we have seen our team had a lot of success but now that we lose a few the fans start turning their back.
As is see it we owe them a lot, but when we get behind the team they will improve.![]()
Some people need to stop confusing criticising the team with deserting the team. If we got relegated, I'd still go and watch them but it doesn't mean I can't state the truth: we at the moment are POOR.

Re: Maybe a Protest
I'm thinking about doing an "Erica Rowe" sponsored streak on the 5th May ! Would this help you protest ?
Do we need a protest, now that Nobby Noble is our leader ?

Re: Maybe a Protest
All this protest talk has worked; Mo & Dave realised that the massed ranks were growing and that unrest could erupt at any moment ! So they took some action ! Very NOBLE of them; don't you think !!!!Cuculus Canorus Warrior posted:
Maybe a protest is needed.
Suggestions:-
1) At our next home game, turn up but don't go into the ground for the whole duration of the match. Just stand outside the turnstiles.
2) Boycott our next away match.
3) Throw our season tickets in the Dougie.
This looks like another season of nightmares.
