[I was a lot more disappointed with our defence than our attack...watched the video this morning (couldn't face it last night), and at one stage SKY had counted 22 missed tackles, with a quarter of the game to go - I dread to think what the final count was.
Lets hope Veivers can get that sorted.]
I agree, we just didn't defend inside our 20 metre line. Every time Cas got in there they scored. Our defence is abysmal at the moment particularly down the right side last night. Cas scored most of their tries down that side. Danny Ward destroyed our forwards single handed up the middle as well. We just didn't hit them hard enough.[/quote]

Gavin Clinch anyone?

The 1/2 back position we are in is ludicrous.

From being promoted we have had a succession of scrum halves from JJ(?) to Stephens, Ford, Gregory, Goulding, whose sucessor was Long (released)and his successor was Robinson (released).

There are other noteable halves such as Edwards and Crompton and I believe that Blake played there a couple of times. But the point being that this pivitol role has had the opportunity to be blessed with some rare talent that has not been managed correctly and is indicitive of how the club has been run and performed in the summer era.
