Lockers is a total waste of space. Someone posted he tackles his heart out - What games are they watching. He is useless and not worthy to be in Cherry and white
Of course, we don't need his 40/20 kicks, the attempts to create something which our halves generally fail to do, or the little chips through that Jordan James scored from three games in a row...

Although I will say he's still some way from what we saw 2 years ago before he got injured.

Sorry Flash, but in the Autumn we will have none! Thats how bad it has got. Remember the old days when the squad was made up of 80% of Wigan. Oh I wish those days would come back

Lockers is THE jewel in the crown.

Easily the best player at the club and the first one to be picked up should the unthinkable happen either by NRL or SL.

He is tacklng his heart out, scoring trys and making field kicks on top of captaining the side and appears to be in everything (both good and bad), he's always involved.

He is being made to work harder than should be expected because he is supporting far inferior players, he knows this and gets on with the job. His frustrations can sometimes get the better of him when he goes high, but I'm yet to be convinced this is frustration and prefer to call it fatigue!

The stick he gets in this forumis just breath taking!
It's very rare I agree with DoD, but in this case I do! He's easily been one of our best and most consistent players this season, along with Dallas and Godwin.

If we had a team with the passion and enthusiasm for the club as O'Loughlin has then we'd be top of the table! The man is born and bred Wigan and I cant see him wanting to play for anyone but Wigan such is his passion for the club!!! He is all over the pitch tackling his heart out, and yes I agree with whoever said it, O'Loughlin is the SUCCESSFUL future of Wigan!!!!!

Lockers was trying his best to tackle and seemed to be really chasing them.

I cant agree with this. Folks are thinking of him 2 years ago. Well this is now and on current form I'd swap him tomorrow for most loose-forwards in SL. Maybe he's still struggling back to 100% fitness and maybe he'll get back to the player he was but at the moment he looks 2nd-rate.

O'loughlin was by far Wigan's most hard working player on Friday night. Tackling, supporting a tackle, playmaking, kicking, running with the ball, (especially going forward, which some players do not seem capable of), backing up etc. etc. The man's heart is "Wigan", the yards he runs in a match must be phenominal! helping to plug the gaps in our "defences" Which his "team mates" have left open. I know everyone is allowed an opinion but the character assassination is unbelievable, See the bigger picture. Please.[/b]

You're right that the main problem is defending near our line - Cas seemed to score every time they got within 10 to 15 yards.
Lockers was head and shoulders our best player, despite one or two mistakes. Orr, Calderwood, Higham, (none of them Wiganers) couldn't be faulted for effort. My concerns are mainly about Fletcher - I wonder if he's here on holiday. He does show some classy touches, but beginning to look like he lacks commitment. And folk hero Feka, whilst brilliant driving the ball in, has serious question marks about his defence - he's easily sidestepped, and looks lost whenever he's one-on-one in defence.

Re Fletcher. He has stated that his recent illness has led him to re-evaluate his priorities. I really don't think putting himself on the line for a game of rugby is important to him any more. Also, coming from the Rabbitohs he is used to being in this position at the bottom of the league.
