Has wigan got a theme tune?

i.e my home team song is hearts on fire for this season

Dont know about theme tune but "Simply the best" is a favourite

they should go back to the vangelis one ,when the oppo were on the pitch it must have made em nervous

I think that it is fine, with 'Simple the best'. Coz they are. We playit everytime to an from the stadium.

It's 'Now We Are Free', the dance version to the Gladiator theme, by Dreamgate.
They play Simply They Best after the matches we win.

Why, everyone else does that? You'd think there was only a couple of songs ever written. Personally I was very happy with Conquest of Paradise. Warrington used Holst's Mars for a while, that was another good one. Something to make the bones tingle as the teams come out, lots of tension and excitement, but something a bit different.

One song's that got to go is that ridiculous "Do wah diddy" rubbish that's played every time we score a goal. It's on a par with Wooly Bully, the people responsible for both songs want locking in a small room and forced to listen to the dreadful noise over-and-over again for a week.

Yeah I agree, more of a classical piece that makes you anxious and excited in my opinion is better than any pop song.

conquest of paradise is the vangelis one,by the way,glad someone else liked it :cool:
