Do a search in the Archive for scholesblue, you can read some of his gems from the past...

so if he is a troll then why not ban him for an amount of time etc.?

i'm sure you have ways of dealing with trolls?
Well, I try and give people the benefit of the doubt, often people start behaving themselves or get bored and go elsewhere after we've warned them once or twice, and to be honest I'm not a big fan of the heavy handed treatment except in extreme circumstances. Scholesblue has made some more sensible posts after his early rubbish, so he's ok for the moment.

But some people get banned. The user currently known as Lindsey is a p***k, on the other hand, has been banned once with a different id.

badguy, your making yourself look more and more like a glory hunter or part time supporter Sorry supporters pay to see team.
You've mentioned all big games not like I said in previous messages about Dewsbury on a Tuesday night with the likes of Potter, Case, Lucas playing.
As for all the jibes about Scholes people then ha ha so funny..
How did 25,004 get into a stadium thats 25,000 with loads of spare seats, Carol Vordemann can't work that out.

It was 25004 into a stadium seating 25004, and I'm sure no-one's asked Carol Vordermann.

But it's not impossible that some people bought tickets but didn't go. I was one such person, stuck on a plane that was 4 hours late getting back to the UK which meant I couldn't go. I'm sure there were other season ticket holders in the same position. A game is considered a sell-out if all the tickets are sold. Whether all the people who bought the tickets actually turn up isn't really important.

I believe it's also because the ground actually seats more and it is the fire safety certificate that detemines the capacity, not the number of seats.
corporate boxes can hold x amouunt of people also, so technically there is no FIXED capacity, yes there is for seating but for boxes / disabled suporters etc... it can vary i think.

official attendance, 25,004... Super League record... the most in 10 years of summer rugby (in this modern era) There are ways of counting attendances.. if not, whats the point in having them? Finance workers for the JJB need to know how many people turn up.. for food orderings, ticket printing costs, attendance projects for next year etc...

so what if there were a few empty seats... people going to the loo, some choose to watch the match under the stand whilst having a pint, fire and safety regulations, police numbers (per 1000 or so people)... a number of contributing factors, all we need to know is that the OFFICIAL attendance was 25,004, thats it.
