Fear the worst people
I really worried that come saturday stains might just do another big job on us, in the last 2 weeks they have virtually won the game (26 points) by half time against 2 teams who were playing well with alot of confidence. Ok warrington came back a little, but us warriors have no come back and our heads might just drop, and the way stains are playing they will just thrive on the confidence. And like i said people fear the worst. FEAR THE WORST :exc:

It is true though. We are not good enough and don't try. Not even strong enough so what will we do next year when we are relegated

As always 99% of people on this board will just pretend we have'nt been relegated, most posters on here still think we are a 'BIG' club, and that because of our past we automatically deserve to be at the top.
Doris has to go to enable us to recover, otherwise we are DOOMED
Re: Fear the worst people
I do enjoy watching rugby on sky but next season if rules are changed to keep Wigan in the Super League if they are in relegation position i will no longer watch or support any rugby league as its not fair. I hope it does not come to that as i do enjoy it but i think it would be bad for the game to change rules to suit the situation.

I don't care how we stay in. Just as long as we stay in!! How fair has the treatment of Huddersfield, Hull and Catalans been on the rest of us? Which club is more important to the sport in terms of revenue and national profile? The whole relegation issue is nonsense anyway, as I have posted on here many times in the past.
Re: Fear the worst people
Why are you watching it now then Rogersdog?, They changed the rules for Huddersfield, London Broncos and now Catalans, So why would you not watch if they changed the rules for Wigan?.
Re: Fear the worst people
Its so false all the excuses. How the hell can anyone say its fair when rules are changed. If they play rubbish like they have all season and dont go down i think its just shows how unfair a sport it is. Ok rules have been changed in the past but if Saints were in this position you would all be disgusted knowing the rules could be changed to suit them. No im not a Saints fan.

How unfair is it that we have to be limited in our spending just because other clubs can't generate the same income?
How unfair is it that we have to offload a crop of talented juniors every year and in effect be penalised for creating the next generation?
If you think our sport is fair and even handed you are deluding yourself.

RD, you're entitled to your opinion, but you are wrong. We would be following in the footsteps of all the clubs mentioned before in having the rules relaxed for us. Plus, we are only in this position because our ability to spend is constrained.
In a free market, we would spend our way out of this, and could send the more conspicuously rubbish players home - RL shouldn't have it both ways - we are going to hold you back and then punish you...
I would applaud any decision to keep us up - if the rule was that any team that could attract average crowds of 14k plus and more publicity and greater tv audiences than the others stays up, then it's a fair rule, even if we would be the only beneficiaries.
