Not talking about your support now, Which IMO is excellent (though not the numbers that are being put out through the official channels). i am talking about all those who stay away now yet will be the first in the queue when it comes to Wembley tickets and proclaiming they have been here through think and thin.

As I've just posted to another message, can we have some facts to substantiate claims about falsified attendances. Or failing that, I'm sure you'll have no objections to the site owner passing on your details to the club should they decide to take action against such claims...

Somehow I think we can translate that as "I am a troll, I just enjoy winding people up!"

As for your statement re: true fans. Just check out the support we have had both last season (where the attendance actually increased despite a poor showing) and this our worst ever in Superleague. Everyone in Rugby League has commended the Wigan fans on their support this year.

We do take the rough with the smooth (see above). However we aren't really that impressed with 'fans' who come out of the woodwork just to gloat. Were you giving equal praise when we were doing well? Actually don't bother answering that as I'm sure I can work that one out for myself!

I agree totally. If the other wigan team were relegated their crowd would halve overnight.

Fair enough. Future postings will tell us whether you are or not. I trust we will see some congratulary postings on any wins etc.

Why have you been subject to winding up? Which team do you support? I assume you are not ashamed to tell us and are as proud of your team as we are of ours.

Thank you for the praise of the fans. I actually meant praising the team when we won things in previous seasons, but we'll take praise for the fans with equal grace!

I support Wigan Athletic and was a regular until last season but a mixture of shoddy treatment by the club, Glory hunters and all that goes with the premiership took away my desire to stump up my hard earned cash.

In all seriousness I do applaud your fans now, Like you I was there in the bad times and hand on heart I would rather be at Rochdale amongst REAL fans than at Arsenal with the Corporate brigade.

If you do win a game this season then I will congratulate you

What goes around comes around, When wigan were the greatest rugby team in the world in the 80's and 90's I doubt you gave a damn about giving it large.

Id be more worried about the Latics. Standard in the prem is up nesxt season.

Watford are the weaklink in the division. Latics were poor from Nov on and are real candidates for relegation next season.

Often happens a side come up has a good start and struggles. Odds are you are going down next season. Reading and Sheffield will improve the prem no end.

Fullham
Watford

Latics did well to get 51 points but most vame early doors. Sides now know how to play you and your in real trouble.

Portsmouth will now spen big and be out of danger.
