Wigan Watcher, to be honest i think your just a bit bitter at our current position like a lot of us, and i feel its clouding your logic a bit. Dave and Geoffs points are very reasonable, i think Mo tries very hard for this club. he mistake was letting all our experience go two years ago, cassidy, smith etc, but thats it, and im sure he'd be the first to recognise this mistake. Since then and before then i think he's done his level best for Wigan, coach and player wise

I take on board what your saying and can understand your fews but no Im not bitter Im not that type of person. What Iam thought is passionate and I truly beleive Mr Lindsay should leave our club.

I wouldn't have said you were bitter, just really fed up and worried, like me, that we may get relegated. I don't think Lindsay going would make any difference to our team. He has just proved that he can still attract some of the biggest names in Rugby League to our great club. The likes of Barrett and Noble etc. not to mention the players we signed in the off season would possibly not have been signed by another club.

Closer to the mark here but still think he should go, have I ever mentioned that. I think Im on my own with this one, I can only see him destroying our club further with his way of management lets say.

Brian Noble is a very head strong person who will only clash with Mr Lindsay in the future. More trouble ahead I think.

It was 2002. I don't think Lindsay is totally blameless despite my earlier post, I know and I am sure he knows he has made a few mistakes, but who doesn't? He is a very shrewd business man. The biggest mistake I think he has made, was to let half a dozen very experienced players leave all in one go a couple of years ago, a la Connolly, O'Connor, Cassidy etc. but then again, hindsight would be a wonderful thing. Eg. I still don't think Moran is a rubbish player, he just didn't fit in our team and couldn't create any chances for the backs. At London he was a supportive player and thrived on the runs of the Stand Off and centres.

Agree with the Moran comment. If only we had used him correctly, I know he was telling Wigan how he played but they did not listen. Isn't it funny the fans can see but the club cannot.

I’m a Wiganer and a Wigan Rugby League fan through and through and always will be. Yes I do like football my team for my sins is Leeds United (don’t ask why).

Everyone has their opinions and all I can see Dave is that most of your posting are to disagree with people. You do make some valid comments sometimes but again mainly in disagreement with others. Can I ask you a question?

Is the first thing you think when reading a post, I disagree with that?
Of course not but if people only post if they agree with someone then this owuld be a boring place.

I agree with quite a lot of what is posted on here but don't feel compelled to post one liners saying "I agree" if I have nothing to add.

A lot of people post things that are a bit of a cliche, like "Linday sacked 10 coaches in 10 years" for example. That comes up a lot and of course he didn't not least because he hasn't been back at the club 10 years.

I don't aee anythig wrong in pointing things like that out and in the case of your post I don't think what you said was accurate in that (for example) you say his recruitment has been poor.
