It doesn't seem fair but the rules were put in place by the RFL and SLE to all chairmen two seasons ago that the franchise were exempt and unless we contest that, we will have to suffer the consequences and that's unfortunate.

But i think if we do finish 11th, they will contest it after the NL1 final for reasons financially as stated in my previous post.

Well i can't really share your optimism Mike, unless teams have mass points deductions i can't really see us in the top six somehow.

There isn't anything wrong with a bit of optimism, even if it is deluded and whereas top six looks impossible it's better hearing fighting talk than the doom and gloom drop/sack players/board talk we get half the time.

You really think so? Personally, it irritates the life out of me!!

IMO a bit of optimism is what Flash is posting elsewhere, i.e, we could be level on points with Wakey after 3 games. If you think a discussion about our top 6 chances is a better one I should make myself popular by posting not only can we make the top 6, we can win the GF and the WCC next season!!

I know we all have different opinions but a lot of the time some of the stuff on here comes across - to me at least - as a flat refusal to accept our situation.

I can't believe anyone is thinking we could possibly end in the top 6 - hello we are bottom.
We need to be realistic, not optimistic - let's aim for 10th?

Not true maybe top six is far fetched yes and yes we are in a deep predicament but until it is mathematically impossible why not share the optimism to stay up. I will cheer the lads on no matter what happens and it's not taking the current situation as a point, but believing somethings better around the corner and if we can transmit some of that positive thinking to the players, why can't we stay up, you tell me?
