Fielden
Re: Fielden
Fantastic, What can i say this is superb, I have been for a pint after work in my local and all the Stains fans are very pissed off with this ( yes we are cheating again ) Makes you realise now why Wire got Morley, The deal for Fielden must have been in the pipeline, Anyway i can't wait to see him in the chery and white on friday.

Re: Fielden
I am now convinced there is no chance of the league expanding at all. Wigan are trying to play their way out of it by signing players like Fielden.Doug Stand posted:
well this is amazing news, but I just don't understand all these top signings.
Fielden is without doubt the best prop in SL... but is he going to play NL1... I just can't think why all these top players are signing.
Either there is truth that Wigan will stay up in SL1 due to expansion or some convaluted excuse or the nest signing is going to be Steve McQueen.
It is a huge gamble by DW but shows his commitment to the club.
If we go down, Fielden leaves and DW is £450K out of pocket.
I think its that simple and rather than add fuel to the fire for the conspiracy theorists this signing should put the fire out.

At least he is spending the £1 million he wasn't going to give Hull KR last Sunday on Sky on Wigan and giving us a fighting chance of avoiding the drop, well done Whelan, this must be at least the third time he has gambled on Wigan. Full marks to the man, where are all the whingers about him tonight???DaveO posted:

Exactly what I was saying to my mum before. All season we've been hearing about Whelan and his beloved Latics and how he would never do as much for Warriors. Well surely this is proving you people wrong, Whelan is Wigan (warriors and latics) through and through just as Mo is. You're quick enough to have a go, now give him some praise.ian.birchall posted:At least he is spending the £1 million he wasn't going to give Hull KR last Sunday on Sky on Wigan and giving us a fighting chance of avoiding the drop, well done Whelan, this must be at least the third time he has gambled on Wigan. Now, I'm not that fussed at all!!

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

That's not bad. Not bad at all!He has not missed a single game for the Bulls in the last two years, scoring 14 tries in the 2005 season that culminated in victory over Leeds in the Grand Final at Old Trafford.
