I reckon the likes of wellens,meli,cayliss,talau,hooper,v.anderson and a few more must only be on 20 grand a year.

agreed 100% never mind previous years they have got to be breaking the salary cap this year.as well as Long,Sculthorpe and lyon that you mention i doubt that Paul Wellens,Willie Talau,Francis Meli, Leon Pryce,Keiron Cunningham, Jason Cayless,Lee Gilmour and Vinnie Anderson are playing for peanuts.
Iam not sure how the income side of the salary cap works but maybe they have assumed that they will be getting a big payout from winning the grand final and the challenge cup.If this is the case and they come up empty handed maybe they need to be worried about salary cap breaches.We can live in hope.

typical, we sign a class palyer and you cant face it. if anything, shouldnt we be looking at your cap. long, scully, cayless, lyon, cunningham, whleens.... need i go on? and also it is up to us who we buy and if we have the money, then why not? from my point of view we are in the cap and no rules being broken, rads isnt playing for money and seu seu has retired. space there if you ask me.

Dear oh dear. The salary cap is brought in for penniless clubs like Stains and then they are punished for having broken it. In the last few weeks, we've bought in 2 players to count as part of the 20/20 restrictions and released 2 from it. We've also recruited 1 other player and released 3. We've also had the SL auditors approve our financial dealings this week. Have Stains done the same?

I got back to my local in St Helens after the game last night and you should have seen the faces on them because we had won, Priceless, Granted you get a few true Stains fans that don't want us to go down but the trolls that come on here would love nothing better to see us in NL1 next year, After tonights performance i have a feeling we will be in Superleague next year.
