In what has been quoted Cullen has said nothing untoward, it must be some peoples personal dislike towards the fella.
Could it be the fact that when they've beaten us recently, our injuries haven't been a factor as far as he's concerned?
Sorry, I can't see where he's mentioned anything about past games?
No, I'm saying that in his comments just after previous games, he's never mentioned our injuries as being a factor. Other coaches have admitted they were playing an "injury-hit" Wigan side.

Wolves press release:

Is the current injury crisis the toughest you have had to endure as a coach?

"By a mile, as of Monday we have seven senior players unavailable through injury plus one of our rising young stars who was in line for his debut. I defy any club to lose so many influential players, not only from their games but also from training sessions and maintain the fine form that we were in."

What positives can you take from the effort against Wigan?

"The game time and emergence of Andy Bracek, Steve Pickersgill, Simon Grix. The quality of the tries we scored against Wigan’s strongest team whilst we are nowhere near full strength"

Do you believe this guy?

Dave

Cullen talks like he's only worth £1999. Or to put it another way he's not feeling too grand at the moment :D :o :o :o :D :D :D :conf: :conf: :doz: :eh:   :( :sly: :eh: :exc:

I do, yes. What do you doubt about what he has been quoted as saying?
Its called irony. Don'ytyou find it ironic he is blaming injuries so much? I think the boot is on the other foot on that front compared to his views when we played them before.
They are in an injury crisis and that is a key parameter in their poor performances. I thought Briers played well in spells, when he wasn't limping about. Wigan's defence did let them in but the attacking team has to force errors and then capitalise on them.
The errors were not forced by good play but just poor on Wigan's part. Par for the course for us.
In what has been quoted Cullen has said nothing untoward, it must be some peoples personal dislike towards the fella.
I don't dislike him at all but the press release was his interview with the Wolves media manager and the whole thing is just not very classy.

How about this:

Both Andy Bracek and Steve Pickersgill have been given game time in recent weeks, what do you make of their contributions?

"They energised our rotation and took the game to a very strong Wigan front row."

Energised our rotation? Give me a break.

And as to taking the game to a strong Wigan front row his pack got battered.

Now now whats all this i think this website has turned into a "We all hate Cullen Website". Leave the guy alone ok he may have over-reated a bit but the man does have a point, Warrijngton are hurting badly with injuries and now Clarke's injured for 4-6 weeks.
Honestly you wouldnt find an anti-hatred campaign for Noble (or any manager in that case) on the Warrington webpage.
So come on guys lighten up you won the match didnt you, i would'nt let anything bother me if my team won, i would just be happy that we'd won :D

Sorry if people on here calling Cullen is upsetting you Gary, But don't forget that over the last few months we have had to endure all the "Going down,Going down" routines off fans from other clubs, My god somebody said they hope we go down even more now that we signed Fielden??, So when a coach starts moaning that they are losing games because of injuries after the amount of injuries we have had to endure really is annoying, The point that people are making on here is the fact that we get told to get on with it wich we have (not very succesfully i agree) but we have got on with it as should Cullen, I think the thing that annoys most on here is the fact that evry time he opens his mouth Cullen sounds like he has eaten a dictionary.

Very fair comments gary.

For the rest of you...Just a word of warning!

Previously Warrington stuffed Leeds, Hull and Bradford home and away, we got injuries to our forwards and prior to our loss in the Pie Dome we had been beated by Hull KR, Quins and Wildcats at home.
So drawing a line through the previous losses it still doesn't argue a case for a much improved Wigan. :eh:

Well a much improved Feka was in evidence against yourselves and GB, a certain Morley couldn't exactly contain him either. With the players we've had back from injury or confidence improved in the likes of Lockers, it was a much improved Wigan, no matter what Cullen says about his own clubs injuries, it's a bit pot kettle black given the injuries and confidence loss we've endured since we lost Faz.
