How awful! A senseless waste of a young life. My thoughts are with the family.

Jack Robinson was a good friend of my dad through central park. Heart felt condolences from Derrick Taylor and all from Fir tree fisheries. Keep your head high Jack, our love goes out to Ben.

My sympathies to both families, what an awful thing. Hope the driver gets done for culpable murder.

Ben was one of the nicest lads i have ever met, always smiling, laughing, joking, and always time for a chat. I can't believe he's been taken away from us, such sad news.

Ben you will be sorely missed

goodnight ben

Masses of flowers and tributes at the spot where it happened (near the park gates on Bridgeman Terrace/Kenyon Road).

I went to school with Ben, the guy was a legend, one of the nicest blokes you could ever meet. i was in the year below and he still always stopped and said hello. Its a sad loss.

my thoughts and love go out to his family, friends and to the other lad who i hope gets better soon.

RIP Ben. legend!
