We'd be silly not to bring Danny home, hes playing a lot longer and a lot better at cas. But i'm lead to believe he's really happy there and would be happy to stay there :( I think Danny would make us that bit more dangerous in the go forward, i mean how many teams have a prop that sets up as many tries as he does through kicks?? But then again Noble might not rate him, as i thought he picked the wrong sculthorpe for the GB v NZ test!

The main reason he does this is probably because their half-backs are pants. If he came back to Wigan and kept attempting these grubbers there would be plenty of fans (myself included) going mad.

I wasn't as fit or strong as before but my two biggest muscles still worked - my heart and my head - Kris Radlinski.

That might depend whether they worked or not. he was often criticised for silly offloads, when in many cases it was more the fact that no-one had the sense to back him up and be ready for them.

Well i don't think Brough comes into that category and if he didn't have offfield problems i'm sure Hull would have kept him.

I'd rather have Shane Webcke or Sam Thaiday to be honest. Even if Webcke came as a forwards coach for a few months. If all the rumours were true we'd have 3 top class teams!!

Yes both players are class acts but Thaiday is contracted to play for the origin matches and Webcke on the verge of retirement so i cant see either. I would love to see Thaiday in a Wigan shirt though.

In Civoniciva's case, though, we're getting into the "over-the-hill Aussie" scenario - he'd be nearly 31 by the start of next season.
I agree with this, yes he had a great state of origin, but there must be question marks about him. When you have an overseas quota of just three players, you have to make them as good as possible, and Civoniceva doesn't make my top three 'we got to have him' list. I think Danny should come back and if a quota space appears because of Bailey then go for a top class centre.

I don't disagree, and a top class centre is want we want, not a prop. Filling a quota spot with another prop doesn't make sense to me.
