Stevo rating Wellens

Just watched Leeds Stains game,stevo commented that Wellens is the best full back he has seen for many years,better than Rads.Wellens is a very good no 1 but not in same class as Rads and even a couple of my workmates who are fans of the Stains will admit this. Any comments?

Heard the same comment. Just thought it showed his hatred of all things Wigan and put it down to his ignorance.

No for your informaton Ido not hate all things Saints and I am not ignorant. I have been watching rugby for many years and have friends who support other clubs including saints.

Most neutrals regarded Rads (when fit) as not only the best in SL, but in the world. Wellens is probably the best around now in SL, which doesn't say a lot for the others.

Let's face facts. We aren't on the telly this week so Stevo's got to find some way of getting on his "I Hate Wigan" soapbox.

Maybe Stevo and Eddie should have got on that BBC2 programme about light entertainment tonight. I hear it's about comedy double acts!!!

Cheers for my information I was just posing the question. I've never noticed any particular hatred from Stevo aimed at Wigan. I've heard Leeds and Bradford fans say the same too but hadn't noticed any hatred towards them either.
