Scully is a diabetic, so he has tried harder than most to achieve good fitness levels. Tha's why when he first came through he could play no more than 15 or 20 minutes. He has to have insulin (appologise about the spelling) at half time.Fraggle posted:The other thing he has proved this year is his fitness, which was a big problem in previous seasons for us. That, more than any disciplinary deficits, was the big worry for me, the fact that he missed quite a lot of every season.ChrisA posted:
I think first time round at times he tried too hard to impress, either with his offloads or his passion, he is aggresive and sometimes it does overflow. He seems to have curbed that a little this year.

I wasn't thinking about that, to be honest. It was the injuries he was picking up in training and in the gym that concerned me.Martin Taylor posted:Scully is a diabetic, so he has tried harder than most to achieve good fitness levels.
