An encouraging thing from this weeks matches was how bad Wakefield and Castleford were yesterday.
Huh?...What game was you watchin'? I watched it as a nutral and I can tell you it was an awesome effort from Wakefield with 12 and then 11 men!!
Both sides made a lot of basic errors - without Brough, Cas were a shadow of their former selves and should have scored on several occasions. The second Wakefield try (which effectively killed the game off) came from a blatant forward pass. Also, if Wakefield need to get 2 players (one when the game is won) sent off in order to be fired up enough to win then by the end of the season John Kear will have to play for them.

Whilst you were watching it as a "nutral" you certainly weren't watching it as a neutral. As just about every post you put on here proves. You wanted Wakefield to win so that you could come on here and rattle on about it.

On the optimistic side, an interseting run-in is Warrington's: Salford away, Harlequins home, Leeds away. Hull home, Saints home. Slip-ups in the first two matches (the the first is no easy-win) and Wires could be looking at 0 points from this sequence. This would give us a target of 7 points to make the play-offs (4 wins from 5 should do it)!

What a load of tosh!
If you read the FAQs then you will see that abuse is not tolerated on this site - and considering that you are having a go at the sites owner...

At the end of the day p'n'b, you don't like Wigan and so like to come on here in an attempt to "stir things up". Relax in the knowledge that even if Wigan are relegated this year; we'll be back in Super League and challenging for honours long before you win the Grand Final!

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

It was an awful game that Wakey won because Cas had no idea at all in attack, every time they tried to put a move on they lost the ball. No organisation, no runners, it was just a poor game in general. Yes it was a good effort with 12 men, but Cas were playing like they had 12 men aswel. Cas had zero width to their game, and no halves for half the match. Both teams where poor as Mike said.Dress it up how you want to PnB, it was an awful game played out by two poor sides on the day.

skill wise, wakey/cas was down there with the worst this season. it was gripping to watch just on the relegation factor.

People like P&B are a sad indicement upon British RL. Far far too many people kid themselves that the standard of SL is far better than it actually is. The players are fitter, better defensively but woeful in attack.

You can read Noble each week saying with the ball we need to improve, with the ball we need to stop making errors. Noble knows it and he knows that at international level time and rime again we get into an arm wrestle with the Aussies but under pressure they execute attacks better and we cough up the ball.

Cas exemplified just how bad attack can be. It was non existent. It is not rocket science, if you have 5 v 3 on one side of the POTB you go down that side of the pitch. Had Cas had a player runner off the inside shoulder of one centre then Tadulula would have looked inept. Instead he was a hero.

You go through nearly every SL team and it is the same. Salford have become top 5 just by defending well and making minimum mistakes. Warrington are woeful and they are top 6. Saints are way ahead of the rest. The top of SL is uncompetitive and the contest at the bottom has proven more interesting simply because so many teams are so poor.

we might be on the botto, but only on points difference. And after Catalan they've got Leeds and we've got Hudds so that means that we'd be off the bottom again.

Anyway if we just win our games we'll be staying up.

Bradford and Quins this week and Cats and saints, this is our week to move up to 7th place, Hudds have got Hull come on you early birds!!
