Would the Rfl bring this up if we were not going to win the leauge or if we were Not Going to get relagated???

I think we are disliked by other sets of fans because they are being very blinkered in what they see going on at Wigan and not looking what the other clubs are doing. For example, when we played Warrington the other week at the JJB and it was Fieldens debut, we thrashed them.
I was sitting in one of the corporate hospitality boxes and I said to somebody near me (a total stranger) that "that was a better performance" he replied with a grunt and questioned how much we had paid the ref to throw the game. I asked him what he meant, and he said that he was told by the Wolves chairman that it is all being kept quiet.
Strangely enough he couldn't offer an explanation when I asked him how much did Wakefield pay them to lose the previous week, when Briers had a kickable penalty in the last minute to win the game but uncarachteristically missed it.
I am not saying that the game was fixed, simply that these things happen and a lot of other fans either don't follow the game enough to know they go on or simply choose to have a selective memory when things go on that they don't like.
As a fan of Wigan and the game in general there are a lot of people who could learn a lot from looking at the overall picture of Rugby League, instead of being blinkered in what they see and only picking on one team.

I've been onto the Wildcats fans forum... all the threads about wigan and the salary cap have multiple uses of the word 'cheaters' etc... it is ridiculous.

It all comes down to jealousy, we are the richest by about 300 million, 1st or 2nd (behind leeds) in attendances each season... biggest club in the world, any excuse to mouth off at us.

all we can do is turn up in numbers and win fair and square.

when you read some of the posters on here it is obvious it is school holidays.it should be '' engage brain before opening mouth[using k-board]''some of the posters don't believe rules are made for ALL ,to be observed

Absolutely right. A while ago when we were points adrift at the bottom of the table BBC Radio 5 had a "dual code rugby weekend" prize giveaway. The prizes were tickets for whatever RU game there was that weekend, and a rugby ball signed by guess which RL side? One clue: it wasn't table-topping Saints.

People are jealous of our standing within the game. They hate the fact that we are the most famous, most successful, best supported and most newsworthy club. Imagine being a Saints official. You look on course to win the double and nobody gives a toss not even the people of St Helens who by and large ignore you whatever you do.
