RFL slur
RFL slur
Having read the rfl statement concerning the bradford penalty decision of 2 pts plus a £25,000 fine with £15,000 deferred, I am left in no uncertainty as to the inferrence toward our own club.
The statement reads- because of the "MITIGATION, HONESTY, and INTEGRITY SHOWN BY BRADFORD DURING THE INVESTIGATION". This clearly says that the fine was reduced as a reward for Bradfords character and co-operation with the rfl.
As we were hit with the maximum and no consideration was given it must mean that we had NO MITIGATION, HONESTY OR INTEGRITY. If this is true then we need to seriously question our board. if they are what the rfl clearly think then we desperately need to do something to change our image.
I cant believe for one minute that our representation was uncooperative, which begs the question why the difference?
Should we ever find out the facts about the actual figures for all the penalized clubs, it would be a very interesting exersize to try and find any consistency.
Can we force the rfl to come clean?

it also says the bulls new thet were over the limit b4 they signed morley ,which i think stink as he played a big part in them reaching and then winning the grand final ,they willing did it new they were cheating and seem to of got off very lightly in my opinion. We went in explaine our persistiom throgh injures and know one would help us we were forced to break the cap so we could put an half decent team out and get punished to the maxStill think the old farts at red hall should resign now or be sacked for double standards

I agree with the blatant double standards Mike and I think that the rfl have now given us enough rope to hang them with, should the obvious prove to be true ofcourse!

Re: RFL slur
Are you sure? Can't you even consider the possibility that our board's behaviour led to the RFL justly punishing us more than Bradford? Personally, I find it hard to believe we were singled out just because we are Wigan. However, like everyone else I would love to see evidence of Bradford's trangression compared to ours.ste lord posted:

What worries me at present is that within minutes of the ruling last week we knew to the penny what our overspend was. I havent as yet been able to find any detail on the Bradford thing, from anywhere. Sporting life, sky sports, Bradfords website etc.

Well I haven't seen that personally Mike. If it turns out that this is true and that they were over the cap to the same degree as us I would have to draw the conclusion that they were more helpful and honest than we were during the hearing, as stated by the RFL. Why is all the anger being focussed on the RFL? Mo must be laughing his head off. He's got away with it yet again.mike binder posted:what a bout the fact they admitted they were over the cap before they brought morley injinkin jimmy posted:Are you sure?
