Unfortunately, Betham officiated when Millward was in charge...............we're a bit different nowadays :exc:

Wigan have had Bentham refereeing 5 times this season

Round 3 - Huddersfield (Won) 36 - 20
Round 6 - Castleford Tigers (Lost) 38 - 18
Round 8 - Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (Lost)40-14
Round 10 - Harlequins RL (Lost)18-30
Challenge Cup - Salford City Reds (Lost)16-4

So Wigan haven't done that well when Betham has been refereeing
True, but none of those games were lost because of the ref; they were lost because we were rubbish!
These days we can play the ref out of the game, as we did against the Bulls.

Don't get me wrong i'm not saying that Bentham is to blame for Wigan losing those matches, I just decided to get some statistics.

I don't think it's as simple as looking at how many games we've won with each referee, it depends who we're playing, how they played, how Wigan played.

Can anyone remember having Laughton this year?

Yep, we have had Laughton this year - remember in the fog farce, at Bradford, and we had to play in the fog - we got hammered that night by the way.

I was at that game but I don't remember seeing a referee. I don't remember seeing much though!
