Dobson

Why don't we break the bank to keep him. I know he wants to return to Oz to prove himself. But surely we should dangle a carrot to tempt him??????

This is the reason Danny Orr is looking like the player he was at Cas. Best halfback pairing in superleague.

I hear what you are saying. But next season its once again unsettled half back pairing. Even if we could try for an extended one year deal with Dobson. Whilst Barret settles in.

To be honest I don't think Dobson would accept the money even if Wigan did offer him a big contract now that may sound stupid but playing in England will stop Dobson playing in State of Origin and perhaps even Australia.

Dobson will now have the confidence that he can prove himself in the NRL + Australia is his home after all.

Dobson looks like he will have a great career so lets not stop him from becoming the great player he can be.

Which of our 3 quota players would you get rid off to keep him (bearing in mind that it would cost us to renege on their contract)?

I have been chatting to a St George supporter this week. He is absolutely gutted about losing TB. The criticism, ignore it. Think about it, you announce your leaving, your going to another continent = if the team loses your a free and easy target and of no future value to that club or the NSW media.
