I was just having a look at RL stuff on the JJB website. We can only muster up a pic of Luke in the blue shirt, a pic of Faz off the official website and last seasons away shirt hanging in a shop!

Considering Dave Whelan owns Wigan Warriors it's an absolute joke that the Rhinos hats, tracksuits and shirts well out number ours and they actually model them so that people are likely to buy them! I despair at the marketing people!

I totally agree, just look at the stains website, even they know how to market better!

I hope someone can conduct a seance then because he'll be 6ft under before that ever happens. Don't you need to start attracting some fans so that you can have some money so that you can buy some players so that you can challenge for the Premiership? You've been doing a lot offloading of your better known players recently, is there some financial problem we've not heard about? And don't you need to get promoted first? I'm sure Arsenal and Man Utd are quaking in their football boots at the prospect of having to play Latics.

I went to the Latics v Sunderland match and the range of mercendise available in the JJB Soccerdome store for both clubs was rubbish. Excluding kits, there is one small stand for each team. Every Premier League club I've visited has had a full club shop "Superstore" packed with branded merchandise (often they even have wall-paper!). At Wigan, you can't even buy a tax disk holder....

Both clubs marketing depts are not up to the standard required by their fans. They should be sent to a course about maximising revenue potential and taken on tours of these club shops.

Then again, perhaps Whelan is investing so much we don't need a marketting dept? :doz:

If you got someone to buy you a Wigan shirt and they washed it twice the JJB would disappear anyway!

Did you see McGuire on the front of League Express today, the Tetleys on his Leeds shirt appears to have faded! Tetleys ought to complain
