Just got back from the game. It was great to see so many explayers taking part. Well suported by everyone, and the great man Mike got what he deserves. It makes you feel proud to be associated with this game of ours. Hope you get well soon Mike, Godbless.

It was a fantastic day and the game was great. Somebody upstairs was obviously helping in some way after the thunderstorms this morning cleared to leave us bathed in sunshine. The game was played in fantastic spirit, and the players looked like they had a great time. Hopefully, this has raised a huge amount to help Mike. The only sad part was seeing him in his current state which I don't mind admitting brought a lump to my throat. Hopefully today will help his future a lot. He deserves it.
