Like someone said before, crowds have never won anything, but the reason we get a better atmosphere than the L****s is because our supporters actually support the team instead of just going to watch the players from other teams in SL... I wonder what their attendances were before neutrals could watch players like Henry play against them.. I know loads of people like that who go to watch the other team play, so I'd say there was one town, and only one great club... after all, how can a team be great if they've only won 4 trophies ever?

to put this post to bed.Would you rather have your team near bottom, playing in a half empty JJB or have a team like SAINTS poor ground but winning every thing?and doing it on a level playing system

Football should always get greater attendances. It is the national game and the media is saturated with football. Moreover, many Wiganers still attend matches in Merseyside and Manchester.

Alas, the perception of Wigan in football terms is 'little Wigan' whereas in Rugby League it is 'the greatest rugby league club in the world'. That is not sniping, that is the truth.
