Well they can't force him to - he's got a contract for next year.

The club could refuse to play him; however that would ultimately waste a spot on the 20/20.

Personally I would prefer to see him stay rather than bring in Leuleui - who has not been that impressive and could well be the next Dennis Moran

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Then he should stay and fight for his place and I hope he does. They can't force him to leave.

Another year at Wigan is not going got harm his future elsewhere.

Orr's effort has never been in question and while there was lots of critisism about Orr's attacking ability prior to Nobby's arrival, ever since then it has been like having a new player.

Why can't the club honour his contract and show a bit of loyalty? If he plays next season like he did in the latter half of the season just gone, we will have one of the best half backs in the competition.

I am sure the club would whinge if a player they wanted to keep wanted out of a contract and what with Wigan trying to offload contracted players and players leaving before contracts are up no one knows who is staying or going and that, IMO, is not the way the run a club.

His agent says 4 SL Clubs have been in contact. I suppose the club saying we know you still have a year to go but if you want a release then that is fine creates a situation where clubs will contact the player and the player himself has to consider his long term security.

Personally, I would much rather keep Danny and have him cover the two halfbacks and hooker than waste money on Millard.

It's great being a Wigan fan, isn't it? You never know what is coming around the next corner. We've suffered a sub-standard Danny Orr for the first few years of his contract. He finally discovers his form, wins Sky MOTM in at least two matches, wins the fans over at last, and we apparently say that now is the time for him to go. It's a bloody good job that being a Wigan fan is in my blood and not by choice, or I think I'd despair of the leadership we've suffered for as long as I can remember and not bother anymore. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I despair of our leadership, I really do.

The thing is, if either of our halfbacks get injured then we are in trouble. 3 Halfbacks seems sensible to me.
