O/T Mobile Phones

Post by wiganese »

hi,

i am currently looking for a new mobile phone, but having poor sight, i am finding it difficult to find a handset with large enough font. i particularly need large font in the contacts list so i can see who i am calling.

does anyone know of any mobile phones which may be of some use to me?

thanks

I seems the trend to make mobile phones smaller at present, but i would look more at the contrast between text and background, as this will also help.

I dont know how you like style and up-to-date technology but some older phones arequite good. Nokia 3210 for example, about 5 years old but you can still ring and text and has large fonts I believe.

Pop into your nearest phone shop and they'll help you better

i'm mainly looking for a phone with bluetooth. i currently have a nokia 6170, which is fine, but it doesn't have bluetooth. most of the really new phones which use the simbian operating system tend to have small fonts, so i can't really go for any of them.

i've been to the link, o2 and vodafone, but they don't know much about phones with large fonts.

My other half has just got the Sony Ericson 810i. it blue tooth and many other features. On contract. I know T-mobile have a section for Disabled customers why not have a look if is any help to you.
Make sure when you go for a phone you tell them all the features you want and don't let them make you have the dearest.
