I'd take the M6 upto Penrith (J40) if I were you, it's a lot much easier drive then getting off at J36 and contending with all them bends and fell roads. There seem to be a high proportion of lorries on there too considering the type of roads.

There are some right wierdos there though, such as the Mark Calderwood Appreciation Society who sits on Row C of the East Stand near the 40 m line. That Willie C's alright for a Bongo though
