WILLIE MASON!!!
Re: WILLIE MASON!!!
Should a mentally retarded adult with the reasoning of a 6 year old be let loose on a rugby pitch. Personally, I think GB should take him on down the tunnel after the match.

Re: WILLIE MASON!!!
When he hit fielden i would of taken him on for a minute lol then when he stood up maybe ran away
Re: WILLIE MASON!!!
I am surprised that Fielden even got back up - never mind carried on playing!!! Like the studio panel said after the game, we didn't see much of Fielden in the 2nd half, maybe he has concussion or another injury somewhere else. Oh no, not now please!!!
Mason should have been sent off for the Fielden incident, then perhaps Mr Klein wouldn't have to have dealt with the Long incident. By not sending Mason off for the Fielden incident, Mr Klein brought the second incident on himself.

Re: WILLIE MASON!!!
Fielden was still out of it and was staggering after a big tackle just before he was taken off.
Re: WILLIE MASON!!!
Sounds like concussion then doesn't it? But we will have to wait and see. Hope he's all right for next week!!!

Re: WILLIE MASON!!!
According to BBC the "cheap shot" by Mason on Fielden has resulted in a broken nose for Fielden, and GB have made an official complaint with regards to the incident.
In my opinion the guy shouldn't be allowed on the test arena again, the shot on Fielden was bad enough but the elbow on Long was damn right dangerous.
The weak standards of officiating gives youngsters watching at home the impression that incidents like this are OK on the field of play.
He should have been given a straight red card ...
I know it, You know it, Ashley Klein knows it but did nothing about it!!
Putting an incident on report is a cop out in my opinion, it's a ridiculous rule that should be scrapped and officials should be made to make up their minds.

Yes should have got a red card.
Think he got a mouthful from Peacock at the end, after they had shaken hands.

Re: WILLIE MASON!!!
Can't believe what I've just read
The panel have stated Mason has no case to answer for his challenge on Sean Long.
So not only is the on field officiating weak but the trend continues off field as well.
How on Earth can they say that when any idiot could see the result of Mason's elbow on Longy.
Good on Longy anyway for not letting it bother him and playing an absolute blinder (can't believe I'm saying this about a Saints player!)
