Gould is one of the best analysts going around. You just have to take the ego out of his comments to see what he's saying.

Forget his ego. Gould is openly biased toward certain clubs / players. His affinity to the Roosters being one, NSW another. As an analyst, well that is what he is paid to do. He hardly commentates. Mossop was just as good and he was commentating far more. Sterlo commentates more and is equally good at analysis. Sadly, Gould was better when he began and has got worse by stroking his own ego. At time the commentary becomes farcical as he engineers mock disputes with Warren and others.
