I feel sorry for Stuart as well and he has had a horrible couple of months. However he is trying to live up the reputation that he has been sadled with. He is not the best prop in the world,he is not the best prop in GB and certainly will never compare with Platt,Cowie,Skerrett,Smith,or Faz in his last season at Wigan when he played most of his time in the front row.By the end of the season he will not be the best prop at Wigan either because Fecca is just finding his feet and will prove himself as a great player

Stuart is a fine player... Hopefully he can have a sufficient rest when he gets home and be with his family, which is his obvious priority... then look after his knee before he joins up pre-season training. Hopefully being home he can become the Fielden we was meant to sign. He doesnt become sh** overnight

Fielden looked ready for a well earned rest and he's deserved it. He played a big part in turning our season around and got a lot of attention in the matches he played. perhaps not at his best on this tour but never took a backward step. It's been a long hard season for all the british players and they gave it their best shot this morning. I agree with Brian Noble, the players gave 100% effort today and we should be proud of them.
