Dave O you will find it is standard practice for the coach to indicate whether ornot to kick or tap from a penalty.

As for Lockers. Yes I am serious. I thought he was one of our few players to actually play a decent game. He rarely missed a tackle, indeed he was one of the few players who seemed not to be intimidated by Fozzards illegal running style and repeatedly dropped him without a problem. Running wise he made more yards than every pack member bar Feka.

The bloke is a convenient bagging horse for people who know little. If somebody is criticising Lockers then they damn well better have criticised Fielden, Hock, Fletcher beforehand. I take Millard as a given.
saw him miss 2 for 2 tries. Agreed Fletchers high shots were getting ridiculous as he kept giving away field position, time and tackles. Fielden wasnt so bad and |Hock tried harder than most.

Millard is getting a bit of a joke. I'd prefer to see Higham go off for 10 and bring no-one on instead of this man.

I think if you want your opinions of Lockers to be taken seriously you need to admit when he has a bad game and he had one v Saints. He may have missed few tackles but two he did cost us tries as has been mentioned. I also think it was you who posted on rlfans about the U18 captain not being vocal enough in their recent game which is a total contradiction to your defence of Lockers saying nothing on the pitch.

I have not had a problem with Lockers the player this season at all but v Saints he was poor by his own standards. The fact the rest of the team were as well doesn't alter that.

In my opinion the only player who could walk off that pitch with reputation enhanced or intact was Lulu. Others who were OK in parts were Hock, Feka and Richards but only in parts. The rest just were not up to it and that included Lockers on this occasion.

He had a bad game yesterday.

Up until that game, in my opinion, he's been our best and most consistent player in both attack and defence so far this season.

Dave, firstly it is totally different captaining junior part timers to a professional first team.

However, I though Lockers, DV, Feka and O'Carrol were our best 4 players v Saints. Please remind me where / when these missed tackles happened? Whatever you do, do not include the Roby try. The missed tackle initially is down to Trent. Remember to, no Wigan player bar maybe DV and Richards did not miss a tackle v Saints. Plenty of our positive work included Lockers and his cover of a grubber was one of the best bits of play we had in the whole match.

Oh and what I say on RLFans.com is often with a pinch of salt. It is a moronic set of forums so I sometimes just piss about on there. However, re the Sam tomkins comment. No I said that seriously.

He had a poor game and the fact others missed tackles as well does nbot let him off the hook! Just admit it that for once your hero had an off day!

Laura is defending was terrible, he misses too many tackles around the chest zrea and to me it means he as not the the strength or technique.

Did you see Aspinalls column in the Post he made Lockers starman, another blind journalist

Dave. Nothing to do with heroes etc.

I believe Lockers is one of our best players. He has had an excellent season so far and v Saints he was still one of our top 4 players. Starman according to Peter Aspinall.

If you want me to say he was not one of our best players v Saints then produce the evidence.

BTW - I rate Hock as highly as Lockers BUT thought he had a shocker.
