Sounds like someone is getting worried that we might be getting better...

They live in such fear of Wigan that it's almost laughable. Despite all the success they've had in recent years, they still appear to define themselves by how much they detest us.

Our forums are full of St Helens trolls stirring any little bit of crap they can, belitting every achievement of our club (even the really BIG ones, quite often trying blatantly to rewrite history). Key topics of conversation on their own boards are more concerned with Wigan than St Helens. It's either how much we're cheating this year or how hilarious our latest efforts are to sign big-name stars, or how crap those stars are when they finally arrive.

They don't seem to realise how insecure this makes them look to outsiders, or how much of an inferiority complex they appear to have. If we actually DO embark on the comeback trail, I suspect we'll see a few suicides around Knowsley Road.

St.Helens fans like that show how bitter they actually are with rants like that. They cannot accept the fact we are the most famous & most successful club in rugby league the world over.

If you look behind the scenes at wigan during the glory days... sometimes it makes me hate what happened the way we treated players (Hampson) and the things that went on.
