Well obviously there is no Boston or Radlinski... it is players he has played with at Wigan. When Radders was in the side he was only a kid and a subsistitute at best... i remember Radlinski coming to my primary school as a 18 year old as Robinson was making all the headlines i was like 'who's this guy?'... didnt play in the same team long enough tbh.

Edwards did go there initally as defence coach.

But i think last season Mcgechan became director of Rugby and Edwards went to head coach.

I might be wrong but i think im right.

Wikipedia believes the coach is Ian McGeechan but also says he is Director of Rugby.

There are some many differant coaching position in RU

Attacking Coach
Line-out Coach
Scrum Coach
Kicking Coach
Strength and Conditioning Coach

'Fall on the floor and roll around' Coach

Why can't they just have a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach.

Because mainly thanks to Clive Woodward when he was in the England setup, the director role is based on match day and tactics preparation and doing the homework and general finances and the head coach is left to deal with match day, team talks and replacements.

This allows the game tactics throughout to be dealt with by Edwards, whilst Mcgeechan can analyise and plan from above. I don't agree with this completely and has undermined head coaches in other sports such as football. But what it does do, is take pressure off an already fairly demanding job. Inclusive to this is obviously training, finances, scouting etc.

Some interesting omissions, but I imagine he would say Fergie, Kenny and Miles didn't do much more than part of a season and the others made longer term contributions. Betts you could argue is unlucky but you can't really grumble at Faz and Westy. I imagine Brendan Barr is feeling a bit miffed though

Haven't got a clue what Edwards job title is at Wasps, but would like to congratulate him on his teams victory on Sunday.

Alright it's Union and I don't like the sport but it's always good to see an old Wigan player doing well.

Media didn't give Wasps much of a chance but later were raving about their superb defence.
