The only way a referee will get experience in these big matches is by actually officiating in them, so it might happen if he keeps his form up (irrespective of whether he is fair to us or not - but you have tempted fate now turf).turf posted:
I think he should get either the CC or the Grand final. It would be great to see a very good young up and coming referee to be tried out in one of those finals.
If we get ot the CC final, and Thaler IS in charge, we should win, because we always seem to win with Thaler.
Mind you, that is because he is always fair.
