That was my point, but Aspinwall is the better of the 2 by far. Gasnier is what we have needed since Renouf left.
Renouf was a liability! He missed too many tackles and sparks of brilliance that he did show was few and far between.

Gasnier would be an awsome signing, I bet dallas and carney would love to play outside him. Hodgson has no impact at all, we need more penatreation in the centre's. Gasnier can give us that, Aspinwall is a better player than hodgson is. He has alot more pace a better sidestep and is better with the ball, plus he can tackle and is better under the high ball. Wiki would be a real crowd pleaser for the short time he would be here should he sign. We would benefit greatly from a player who runs and tackles with the determination and aggretion he plays with. Hes an explosive forward, which is somthin we havnt had for a good while. Stacey jones is a truely world class scrum half, I would feel sorry for robinson should he sign, but that would be out weighed by the excitement of seeing stacey jones in a wigan shirt. SeuSeu has already signed for next season I understand.
...and we'd have just filled our salary cap with the players mentioned in that post.

I wasnt saying sign them all, I was trying to make a case for them individually. And as for renouf missing tackles, my god we were not watching the same player then.

Can't have been! He was a waste of money.

He (Renouf) was too old when he joined us, although he was still our top try scorer that season...my point about "over the hill Aussies" again! Most of our best imports (from any country) have been young enough (and stayed long enough) to make a real impact, rather than one or two seasons at the end of their careers.

Hodgy may well have had good stats last year, but this year he has no confidence to run forward, he gets so far and stops!

Yeah, I'd noticed that, most notably at Warrington but he seems to be growing in confidence. He'll get better and better as he scores tries and makes breaks. Dallas lacked confidence at the beginning of the season and look what a little tun and a couple of tries can do! All the patience in the world for Orr and all the pressure in the world for Hodgson.

Orr has only been with us one season, Hodgy has done this for quite a few seasons. If anything we've had patience staying with hodgy and were quick to jump on Orrs back.
However I think if hodgy stays, he'll have his turn to come good just like Orr did. Just keep up the effort hodgy!

I meant since him coming back from his achilles injury... can't complain last season being top try scorer for us.
