You'll need a replacement for Carvell for quite a few games, I'd guess, when the RFL give him a well-deserved holiday tomorrow.[/quote]
You didn't see the game then?
The tackle Carvell got put on report for was a good one.
It had Stevo scratching his head. Carvell's arm was over the ball.
The following tackle that saw him rub his forearm in a face got him sinbinned, that was his punishment, it was not put on report.
Unless the RFL actually site Carvell for that forearm incident, it will not be on the RFL agenda. Just the previous tackle for which was good. Its on report because the referee thought there was a infringement but he didn't see it clearly. It will be no case to answer.

18 League Championships - British Record - 17 Challenge Cups - British Record - 8 Regal Trophies - British Record - 3 World Club Challenges - Joint Record - 6 Premierships - Joint Record - 21 Lancashire Cups - Record - 18 Lancashire Leagues - Record - 4 Charity Shields - Record - 1 BBC2 Floodlit Trophy - 2nd best to Saints - Gutted! - You can all try but you'll never match our history!.............................
1 - 2nd Division Championship - winners - Wigan RLFC - 1980/81
Your right...Not a chance of matching your history!
Never since the formation of the Northern Union in 1885 have Warrington ever finished bottom of the league, relegated and played in the British second division - The only club ever, before the introduction of a francise system! So thats a World Record!!!
ps.... I don't see this Trophy in your list either....
Captain Morgan Trophy - Winners - Warrington RLFC - British Record!

Hes banged to rights !!!
Only one offence put on report! The first where there was nothing wrong.
He got punished for the second offence in the match which saw him sinbinned. And rightly so! That does not go on report.
The sinbin is the punishment. You don't get punished for something twice unless the player is sited for it.

From the comments coming out of Barrow he had made a good impression and played really well. I did go up on Gud fri to watch him on his first game for them.
The only issue is will they play him in the first team every week? If not then he should stay at Barrow we he is assued of 1st team Rugby.
Hudd's coach, Brown, indicated that this is a good move for Mossop, Hudd's and Wigan, in that he would make an immediate impact at Hudd's plus Wigan getting the benefit later of him having Superleague experience.
IF ! he returns of course !
The way Brown was talking seems to indicate he will return, unless you know otherwise TEW.

I reckon at least 2 matches and a sizeable fine !
Unlikely. He's not a Wigan player. He'll get let off.

Sadly im not an insider, it just seems to be a regular thing where players go out on loan and very rarely return.
If Mossop gets regular first team football im not convinced he would want to come back and play 2nd fiddle to anyone at Wigan
I hope im wrong
Like you, I sincerely hope he doesnt too.
As I see it, he will gain good Superleague experience that Wigan cant provide him at the moment.
After maybe a season on loan at Hudd's, his game will have improved sufficiently for Wigan to realise his potential back in Cherry & White.
Wigan request his return and we have another excellent young prop or second rower.
Like you, I too think he is too good a prospect to permenantly let go.

carvell won't get suspended. it was the high tackle on horne i think he was reported for and that was barely even a penalty.

I think the key with Mossop is that he needs first team rugby. He's been coached etc but you then need the games to adapt / excel. I think he will be a better prop than a back rower but it is very useful to have a player who can do both.
Both Coyles now play for Oldham.
