I would have to go into administration rather than declare myself bankrupt such would be the cost of my phone bill.

What worries me greatly is i get the feeling that this has gone beyond the fans now. No matter what coaching they are or aren't getting the players we have should be good enough to dispatch celtic which to me suggest either 1 of 2 things:

1)im wrong and the players at wigan when missing lockers and hock are not as good like for like as a not full strength championship side

or

2) the players are not putting the effort in for noble.

My hunch is the latter which makes dispatching him all the more urgent.

WF, Noble has lost the players there is no doubt about that. As you say acting quickly in such instances is paramount. We win inspite of Noble and lose v any team prepared to put up stubborn resistance because those teams are just that teams and they are led by coaches they want to play for, respect and buy into their philosophy.

Our players find Noble boring, he speaks to them like he is on TV and rambles on for far too long. Above all, the players have little or no confidence in him.

Problem for IL is who will take the poison challis. He can't sack the driver until he gets another driver or the Wigan bus will stay in the park. A caretaker coach will not resolve the issue then it will be a last gasp he'll do and in the next two years this thread will run again. If the top coach in the superleague era can't hack it at Wigan who is available who can, Jim

If I was IL, I'd put Shaun Wane at the helm. People keep saying there's not enough pride being shown on the pitch in the Wigan shirt. One thing the young lads that have been given a chance this year have shown is passion, and I belive alot of this has come from working with Shaun. Plus the 21's play some nice stuff too. :) :)

Well Shaun Wane would be a popular choice for a caretaker coach and after Saturday, he could hardly do much worse could he! As far as I can see "the Wigan bus has stayed in car park". What could be worse than losing to a side that has one game all season? Losing to the under 12s?!

IL should be looking for a new coach anyway and as long as he is up front with Shaun from the start that it is only a temporary situation; than I see no reason for any problems further down the line.

We can't stick with something that blatantly isn't working, just because the next candidate hasn't been parachuted into the JJB. If we had taken that approach a couple of years ago, then we would have ended up in NL1 with Millward in charge.

as rads has stated in his book there is definately more of a culture problem at the club. therefore we need someone who lives wigan rugby, someone who knows what it feels like to win a trophy for this great club, this type of person could get us to where we want to be and instil some belief back in the club.

ellery hanley, shaun edwards, adrian lam 3 coaches who know exactly what to do to get the best out of wigan rugby, yes shaun edwards may be a bit farfetched of an idea but im sure ellery would be interested and also lammy.

I have only been registered on this Forum since last season.

Was there ever this kind of thread when Mike Gregory was in charge?
