He's nothing but a mouthy snake. No respect for the man at all.I for one never liked him no matter how many tries he scored. His defence was as tragic as a sieve holding water. :(

Martin Offiah was one of the best wingers ever to have played for Wigan. He was unbelievable at breaking tackles and consistently scored fantastic tries. If you think he was rubbish - I think you're rubbish at judging players.

He is now an agent. An agent's job is to get the best deal for his players. If he were a coach for Wigan his job wuold be to get the best out of the players at the club. He isn't so he doesn't.

Why the outrage?

Just to add, I think there are very few wingers in Super League who could have scored many of these tries. The guy was sheer class in open play, balance, pace and style. Granted, his defence was pretty poor, but we signed him to score tries and win games for us. He certainly did that.

Whatever his profession now, it has no bearing whatsoever on what he was like as a player.

Enjoy

Don't you mean 'the most money'??

That's the same thing IMO. He wants to get the most money for his clients, therefore making more money for himself. Who in their right mind wouldn't work that way. Most of the players he is hawking around will have requested transfers or at least be willing to listen to offers.

It's a short career and the more money a player can make in that short period, the better for them. We may not like it as paying fans, but that's the way it is, unfortunately.

He lost a good 5 yds in 100 after his signing from Widnes to Wigan.
A very overated player, a rubish RL TV pundit , and now only on the make from what he can get as an agent.
SHxte comments from him regarding Wigan needing a squad of new players to make it good again.
Which planet is this balloon on.

He was outstanding people who say otherwise are talking garbage. He could read a game. He had pace to burn (fastest player I have ever seen). Chasing back defense was outstanding, maybe hes annoying folks now because hes an agent but so what its his job.

Read what I said Mike.No matter how many tries he scored. At no time did I say he was not up to scoring tries.Just because we differ in opinion regarding his defensive qualities etc. This does not give you the right to think your opinion is any better than mine or anyone else's.Perhaps you like certain players that I do not rate.We all differ in opinion.I have been attending Wigan matches for the last 54 years and do not presume that other Wigan fans will rate the same players the way I do.Nor do I think that others opinions are rubbish.Otherwise we would all be successful coaches. :D
