Certainly did JT no harm he came back a better more complete player. I think its a good move, while the pace may not be SL the knocks aren't any easier and there are some real pyshical encounters which will help prepare them for SL.

You think so? Goulding & Mossop went out last year without much furore!

OK seeing as everybody else thinks this a good move I'll reserve judgment and hope for the best :D

New season positive attitude and all that!

(But... Kev Brown was initially a loan deal to Huddersfield & I'm sure other people with better memory than mine will remember other 'ones that got away' that began as loans)

Fingers crossed they return stronger and better players to take their place in a future Wigan team.

I reckon its better that they will be getting first team action and building experience instead of hanging around waiting for a game, they will train with our coaching staff anyway and two of them are available at a moments notice, can only be a good thing in my humble opinion, yeah like my opinion was ever humble :)

I've got a mate that's a Widnes supporter and he is well pleased with these deals.

I really want widnes to do well I feel a bit sorry for them at the moment and when they're in Super League our crowds go up. Considering Salford got a place on the back of a ground that might not happen, along with the wrexham situation I'd feel a bit aggrieved if I were them. Good deal for them this though.

The team Widnes should be aggrieved against is not the Crusaders but Quins. Quins went bust as did Widnes. Widnes were denied a place in SL as their track record finance-wise under their new owner was not known.

Quins went bust (as the Broncos I think) but after a vote of SL chairmen were allowed to stay in SL.

That is where the double standards are. At the time Mo voted against it and got slagged off for it because he wanted Quins to have some sanction imposed on them.

Yeah totally agree, I think they will be aggrieved with the rfl first and foremost but I also think the RFL are moving in the right direction and Quins know they are running out of chances. Quins are a total waste of time and would have been better off staying as broncos. They alienated potential fans from union in london by taking the name harlequins. If another sport came along you'd never watch a team called st helens would you.

Surely they'd be called Orrell?

Also, we need a team in London. Its vital. A good team with good crowds is a bonus.
